The company is led by Mr. Cheela Venugopal, Chairman and Managing Director, a B.Com graduate and an MBA alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management & Commerce (1980). With decades of entrepreneurial and leadership experience, he has successfully guided Vijayavani Limited through various phases of growth and diversification. In recognition of his business standing and international engagement, Mr. Cheela Venugopal was honored with the UAE Golden Visa in May 2025.

Started career while studying, initiating a paper-based industry at Vikarabad. Ventured into manufacturing and marketing raw materials for the rubber industries. Launched the brand "Vijayavani" on November 25th, 1983, with the inception of Vijayavani Electronics.
Pioneered hire purchase and institutional hire purchase in collaboration with ICDS, Syndicate Bank, 20th Century Finance, and various government organizations in undivided Andhra Pradesh. Partner and Direct Selling Agent with ICICI Bank for marketing all their retail products like personal loans, home loans, car loans, two-wheeler loans, credit card loans, Medical equipment’s, commercial vehicles, opening of bank accounts, collecting deposits, etc. Formed exclusive partnerships with various public sector units like BHEL, IDPL, IDL, ECIL, DRDL, DRDO, MIDHANI, BDL, NFC, HPCL, VIZAG STEEL PLANT, VIZAG PORTS, TTD, and others through South Central Railway Credit Cooperate Society. Entered the communication and distribution sector, serving as a distributor for IDEA, Reliance CDMA, and Samsung mobiles.
Transitioned from Vijayavani Finvest and Marketing to Vijayavani Limited, a private limited company.
Established Vijayavani Infosys in 1998, offering IT services and recruitment solutions. Ventured into diverse sectors, including the chocolate industry with "Wow Chocolate," and food processing with Vijayavani Food Processing Pvt Ltd. Involved with PHFMS an Integrated facility management unit. Partnered with Oracle for PRIMAVERA products, Made investments with Niranjan Biotech a pune based microbial product manufacturers.
The journey of Vijayavani Limited is adorned with prestigious awards, including "Best Dealer Awards" from ICDS, 20th Century finance, Reliance, IDEA, and Videocon, recognizing our significant contributions in the hire purchase sector.
Since 2015, Vijayavani Limited has been actively involved in mentoring and strategic participation across multiple ventures. The company serves as a mentor and sleeping partner to reputed educational coaching institutions, including Toppers Academy, Takshasila Academy, and La Excellence Academy.
Expanding into the consumer and manufacturing space, Vijayavani Limited launched Fantaisie, a B2B gifting solutions brand, supported by a self-owned chocolate and confectionery manufacturing unit. In addition, the group is engaged in several family-run ventures spanning real estate and construction, retail jewelry, and home automation solutions.
Under the Public–Private Partnership (PPP) framework, Vijayavani Limited is involved in the conceptualization, development, and operational support of projects across diverse sectors, including tourism, healthcare, financial services, science & technology, and education, primarily in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
A key focus of the company’s government engagement is the design and implementation of welfare-oriented, low-risk models that place minimal financial burden on the Government while ensuring long-term sustainability and public benefit.
One of the flagship initiatives of Vijayavani Limited is the Government Employees Welfare Scheme (GEWS). This scheme is conceived as a structured financial welfare program aimed at providing secure and transparent personal loan facilities to government employees. GEWS is designed to be risk-mitigated, technology-driven, and operationally robust, offering benefits to employees while ensuring compliance, accountability, and zero financial exposure for the Government.
